22 May Your Answer Revealed!
How did you go with the ‘audit’ questions last week?
If you’ve missed out the fun, this is what we did to the ‘manufacturer’ (a.k.a YOUR body).
Do you want to guess the easiest solution to tackle the 4 questions? In fact, it’s a no-brainer.
MORE fresh veggies and fruits in your daily diet. Specifically 6-7 servings daily.
But seriously, how many of us PAUSE and look at what we’re REALLY eating these days?
Perhaps you’ve tried.
You find yourself reaching for that bag of chips or cookies even when you told yourself no. ‘Once pop, you can’t stop’, remember Pringles famous tagline?
You find that you crave even more once you eat just one sweet snack.
I get it because these are all common problems with curbing your cravings for sweet or savoury snacks. Most conventional snacks have been loaded with fat, sugar and salt.
Is this done intentional? You bet, that’s how the food industry gets you! They’re genius.
By manipulating the amount of fat, sugar, salt and flavour in just the right amounts, it can create an addicting nature which is hard to resist.
Check out this truth-exposing book title Salt, Sugar, Fat- How the Food Giants Hooked Us . You’ll never see food the same way ever again.
Take for instance- I’ve always known that MSG (Monosodium Glutamate) is a flavour enhancer and there’s nothing nutritious about that except it is an excitotoxin that excite brain cells to death. What I didn’t know is that it is a hidden source in many food products under different names!
Spot these in your next grocery:
Yeast extract, Autolyzed yeast, Textured protein, Hydrolyzed Protein

When I first started, I made the mistake of putting in way too much fruits (sweetened yoghurt drink + dragon fruits), hadn’t had a clue that I was driving my pancreas crazy with the rush of sugar.
Next mistake was blending my greens and fruits in a low speed blender and I made the most horrible drink- bits of chunky leaves in my mouth. It was yucky. You need a high speed blender for your green drink to come out so smooth that you want to slurp every drop of it!
So, what say you? Give it a try!
Whether you’re eating veggies, salad or a green drink, you’re filling your body with nutrient-rich plant foods. I’ve never heard anyone dying of an over-dose of veggies.
And when the weight starts coming off (even your friends start to notice!), you’ll become so excited that you wouldn’t want to stop this journey of healing with nutritious food.
