Just a little bit of cake/fries/chips/insert your favourite indulgent food won’t hurt, right?
How many times have you heard this?
If you’ve ever thought this or worse – said it out loud – I want you to pay close attention.
Snacking or craving catches us off guard when our defenses are down.
Let’s say we have been on healthful eating. It will praise us for our virtue and tells us that “just a little bit” of something sinful won’t hurt.
But a little bit of something sinful does hurt-Why?
Because the little bit often leads to just a little bit more.
You know exactly what I’m talking about…
What if I told you that there was a toolkit that could help you de-fuse this crazy bombshell?
It’s one of my all-time favourite strategy (aside from this) which has helped me time and time again especially when I’m out and about.
Here goes! Before doing anything, take a step back and ask yourself these 3 CRUCIAL questions-
Now, don’t feel bad even if you end up eating your indulgent food, it’s fine because you’re now aware of what is triggering it in the first place. But I want you to be 100% honest with yourself, ok? This is a judgement-free zone.
Remember, action creates results. So, get your questions rolling today, tomorrow or every time you reach out for a snack.
Before you know it, simply eating when you’re truly hungry (and not for entertainment!) will become second nature.
