Everybody deserves a healthy body!
And you know what else?
THIS has grown more and more popular over the past few years.
Why, Hello KALE!
For a very good reason!
The dark (like super DARK!) green member of the cruciferous family (think broccoli, cauliflower, bak choy) has TONS of high nutrient density.
It’s an EXCELLENT source of anti-cancer compound (sulforaphane), antioxidant, calcium and other phytonutrients!
Oh, and those with thyroid problems need to be careful not to go crazy amounts of consumption though.
Anyway, nobody does that!.. or at least nobody I know chomps 10 cups of kale on every meal.
Because kale tastes bitter!
But like mom says any food that is bitter, like bittergourd is actually good for the body.
So are you ready for a change?

And a PRO-TIP: If you’re new to kale, try out baby kale for a milder taste like this recipe!
- 1 cup pineapple
- 1 cup baby kale
- ½ cup almonds
- 3-4 medjool dates, pitted (optional for extra sweetness to mask 'green taste')
- ½ cup water
- Place all ingredients in a high speed blender and blend till smooth.
- If smoothie is too thick, add a splash of water and blend again.
This smoothie tastes nuttier and crunchier than I thought, thanks to heart healthy almonds!
