Do you know –What’s the LARGEST ORGAN in the body?

Let me give you a hint!

It is also the most vulnerable organ, with constant exposure of oxidizing effects from the sun, loss of collagen, sagging due to gravity, fine lines and wrinkles.

Yup, it’s your SKIN.

What can we do about it? After all, we want to look youthful for as long as possible, right?

Apart from applying expensive serums and creams externally, what about nourishing from the inside to give you glowing skin?

Well, I’ve got just the right thing for you because this recipe screams ANTI-AGING! 

It’s packed with Vitamin C from KIWI + healthy fats from AVOCADO.

Vitamin C – Excellent for your skin, helping you look more youthful! It has anti-aging, collagen building and anti-oxidant effects.  What’s not to love? While some people choose to apply Vitamin C serum on their face, I’m choosing to take this beauty potion from nature’s diet.

Avocado – is actually a fruit! I thought it was a vegetable all along. Contains impressive phytonutrient which counters inflammation, monounsaturated fats to keep the bricks and mortar of the skin healthy and is loaded with fibre. Makes smoothie creamy without the dairy.

Always remember that your skin needs healthy diet in addition to good skin care products without nasty chemicals!
Ingredients
  • 1 handful of fresh spinach (you really won’t taste it, great way to sneak nutrients!)
  • ½ cup pineapple
  • 1 organic kiwi (yes, you can blend the fruit whole, eat the skin!)
  • ½ avocado, peeled with pit removed
  • ¼ cup water
  • Optional – a squeeze of lemon, 2 tsp chia seeds, 1 tsp of flaxseeds
Instructions
  1. Place the ingredients in in a high speed blender and blend till smooth
  2. Add a splash of water if the blend becomes too thick.
  3. Serve and enjoy!

 

As you can tell, I’m a HUGE smoothie fan and a breakfast person. Every morning, I’ll blend up a glass of smoothie to kick-start my day because it’s FAST, CONVENIENT, and NUTRITIOUS which I know I can’t buy outside. Depending on the variety, I enjoy eating avocado itself and blending it in smoothies at least three times a week.
